Cats and dogs supposedly differ so much that they can't make a harmonious match. I am always happy when I see evidence of the proverbial exception to the rule. For me, that indicates that the 'rules' are not so necessary at all. And that the most beautiful combinations in art and love usually originate outside the established order. The area where the head has stopped and the heart takes over. :-)

Honden en katten zouden zo verschillend zijn dat ze onmogelijk vreedzaam samen kunnen leven. Ik ben altijd blij als ik bewijs zie van de spreekwoordelijk uitzondering op de regel. Dat geeft voor mij namelijk aan dat die 'regels' helemaal niet zo nodig zijn. En dat de mooiste combinaties in de kunst en de liefde meestal ontstaan buiten de gevestigde orde. Daar waar het hoofd gestopt is en het hart het overneemt.
