We had to take a quick detour to France to bring some of my paintings there. I am so pleased to been asked to exhibit some of my work, big and small, in the center of Paris. Walking by the muiderpoort with my dog my eye catched this in a way touching image. A large coarse wall with loads of snow on the floor and then this delicate plant in the front . Not much more then a twig actually with only one yellow leaf attached. And that leaf does his best to survive with a mouthful of snow on his head.
