I'm a big fan of trivial beauty, 

with that i mean the beauty of things that are normally not seen as items of desire, or are not even worth a second glance for that matter. 

A grey day and then this sunny yellow with a small dot of blue coming from the handle of the cleaning mop makes me smile and hé i didn't even mention the fact that the hallway of my studio was cleaned without me moving a muscle. Thank you friendly cleaner.

In Amsterdam we still vote by coloring a red box with a 'vintage' red pencil. Personally I like this. That's why I gave this painting it's name.
