This little mouse made me wonder.

The way he reaches and stretches to get to the berries he likes best. Balancing on a twig like a circus animal on the jungle gym. Aren't we like that?

When we really long for something, we will always find a way to get there. Sometimes it takes more time or perseverance in order to achieve it, but if it is a true soul desire we will never stop.

And if we do stop trying?

Then maybe it was not so important after all or we will get so unhappy that we will probably try it again after a while. In a different way.

I wanted to paint for a living since I was very little but I made a huge detour before I realized. Everything I ever did was creative but I never felt totally at my place. I was close but not spot on. Up till now. Making people happy with the things I paint out of pure desire. Transporting energy. Being able to live from that. Pure Joy!

And even now I'm still reaching for those juicy berries haha. Always things to wish for, but I'm blessed and on my trail.

Ok to be accurate not to say that these berries are the mouses favorite, I don't even know if mice like berries, I just painted a metaphor. I hope you like it. Those eyes full of magic and expectation. And this mouse tells us it's all about the little things, little steps can make you climb a mountain.

Today's guest is Rapunzel. A cat from the siamese breed I've introduced you to yesterday. She has this frail body, white furry coat, two stripes on each leg and the most dazzling blue eyes. I never saw her in real life but I was told she had this strong loud voice, deep and dark.  Though this appears to be typical and normal of the siamese species, it still feels weird coming from such a tiny delicate creature.  In the older days, siamese cats were also used as a sort of guard dogs. Specially in important places like temples. They could meow so loud, that unwanted guests were scared away or at least got detected before they could do any harm. We as humans sometimes here our little voices inside, also referred to as our intuition. It tells us things we know are right deep down, but we are not always used to follow them up. Stuff like, 'this does not feel right' or the opposite 'this is something I would really want to do but I don't dare to go for it'. Can you relate to this? Maybe today is a good day to use Rapunzel's loud voice to wake up to our inner voice. Listen to it with an attentive ear and let it out in the open to scare away our fears and doubts. Today I would like to show to you her brave side. Most of the time she likes to keep life plain and simple, just enjoying the little things. But at the same time she is also ready to explore the world. Although she is easily set off by loud noises she is way to curious for new things to keep her in one place.

This is Emmy, Emmy was still almost a kitten when she past away. Although she only lived for one year she had a turbulent life with lots of accidents and misfortune.
