What I like about a snowy landscape is the emptiness of the image, the omission, it gets very graphic. Only some parts still ask for attention and the rest is immersed in tranquility.

Maybe that is what snow is for, Lies: it's telling us to rest for a while, be quiet, forget about all those tiny little thoughts and details that make our heads spin.
