Did you look for Bertje on painting 19 of the Happy France project? Well here he is up close. This little rascal ran away a few days ago and came back late in the night, totally exhausted. It took him two days to come to his senses, but here he is, all fit again.

This is the pigeonnier Villebourgon. It's a perfect place in which I'm living during my 'artist in residence stay' in France. In this area of Lauzerte there are more dovecotes. Before the french revolution it was only held for 'Les Seigneurs' to have a dovecote. After 1789 everybody could build one.
